The Twinstarr gyroplane or autogyro was created in 1990 at Farrington
Aircraft Corp in Paducah, Kentucky. Production Ceased when the owner of
Farrington Aircraft, Don Farrington died of a heart attack and his wife,
not a fan of aviation, dismantled the company and auctioned off the
assets. Attempts are now being make to bring the aircraft back into
production.
It has become renown as a durable and trustworthy aircraft. The
Twinstarr is highly sought after as a gyroplane trainer and
cross-country autogyro. The Twinstarr has a Chrome-molly pre-welded
steel frame, dual controls and a certified aircraft engine.
